Our work is guided by the vision and leadership of our founder and Executive Director, Priscila Teixeira—an immigrant, a mother, an award-winning fashion artist, educator, and social entrepreneur with over 40 years of experience across global markets. From corporate fashion houses to grassroots programs, Priscila brings unmatched experience and a heart-centered approach to every initiative we run. Backed by a trusted, passionate team of volunteers, she leads with both strategy and soul—merging creativity, compassion, and deep industry knowledge to build programs that are as reliable as they are transformative. Under her leadership, The Fashion Community is growing to be a trusted force for good and collaboration, championing creativity as essential and using fashion as a tool to uplift lives, empower communities, and shape a more inclusive, and sustainable future for all in Central Ohio.
